Gary John Ware

Gary died unexpectedly, at his home in Powassan, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was 71 years old.

Gary was predeceased by his father Frederick Ware, his mother Yvonne and her husband Gordon Ree, and his brother Brian Ware. He is survived by his stepmother Violet Ware of Powassan.

Gary was the dear brother of Steven and David Ree, and stepbrother of Jed Showers. He will be fondly remembered by ten nieces and nephews.

Gary had only recently moved to Powassan from Orangeville. He was retired from work as a shipper/receiver in the food distribution industry, and his “side job” driving taxi for Orangeville Cab.

Cremation has taken place. Gary’s family will celebrate his life privately.
