Heinz Erb

Heinz died unexpectedly in Arnstein, on Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was 81 years old.

Heinz married Jacqueliene Davis in 1973, and they had a daughter Crystal (deceased 1975). When he married Jackie, Heinz also added two daughters to his family: Julie May (Frank) of South River and Sheri Moore (Jeff) of Powassan. “Nampa” will be lovingly remembered by five grandchildren: Breanna May (Nate), Alexandrea May, Braden May, Brooklyn Moore-Yemm (Owen) and Connor Moore; and two great-grandchildren: Jacob and Lenora.

Heinz was the dear brother of Beat, Hausi and Ted Erb, all of Switzerland. He was predeceased by his parents Fritz and Mary Erb, and brothers Peter and Paul.

Born and raised in Switzerland, Heinz was recruited for his expertise and relocated to Canada to establish a Simmental cattle breeding operation, which he eventually took over and ran successfully to retirement.
